what to do if you can't sleep

1. Try singing to yourself. You can sing the words to Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, but any old tune will do. Don't worry about the ending; just fade out if you forget the words.

2. You could also read a book. Try to find one with pictures of animals and name their body parts, such as the mouth and head.

3. While reading that book look for things like flowers and ladybugs, and give them some directions, such as, "get in". Be polite when you finish reading by saying, "Bye, ladybug".

4. If you'd like, try counting to ten. It's okay to skip a couple of numbers while counting.

5. If all else fails, try taking the classic game of duck, duck, goose, and change it up a bit with "turtle, turtle, duck, turtle, turtle".

Just a suggestion.

I couldn't even possibly be laughing any harder - she cracks me up... and that sweet little smile... how in the WORLD will you make it through the teen years with your girls?!
