And so it begins...

School, that is.

Well, technically we started in July. I needed a few weeks of trial runs to get the kinks worked out in my one-room, home-schoolhouse so that my family didn't have to get out the straight jacket our schedule and routines could work in sync as much as possible.

And I'm so glad I did!

Not only was I able to find a balance so that I wasn't running back and forth between kids to help them, my children were able to adjust to the new routine, learn our procedures for workboxes and tot trays, and just get used to all 5 of us working in one room together.

And after we took a break to spend time with Daddy while he was off work, they had no trouble jumping right back in where they left off.

So, yes, school has begun! This is what I have been waiting, working, and praying for. This is what God has been pruning me for!

In my 6 years of teaching in public and private schools, I don't think I've ever been more excited for a first day of school.

Nor have my students!

And so, we begin!
